Save time and resources with the ability to digitally verify the location of equipment and other assets.
The Verification tile on the main Equipment dashboard provides a quick overview. If an item has changed location since a previous verification, or it has not been verified for 30 days, its status will change from a green check mark to an orange caution symbol. In the above image, all equipment is verified.
In this tile, equipment has not been verified, so the status has changed to display the caution symbol. Click the Verify Equipment button in this tile to bring up the Verification dashboard.
On the Verification screen, select a location from the dropdown menu to assign the equipment to a location. (You can also assign equipment to a parent asset along with a location. Parent assets are areas or places within a location that the assets can be assigned. This will reflect in the Assigned Equipment report.)
You can add the equipment you want to verify by 1.) conducting a search, or 2.) scanning RFID tags.
1. Conducting a Search
Search for the piece of desired equipment in the search bar. You can search by description, serial number, or RFID number.
Once you have found the piece of equipment, click on the button on the right side of the line to place it in the box on the right side of the screen. You can add more equipment by repeating the search.
You can view the history of each piece of equipment on the verification list by clicking View History, and a pop-up will appear with the relevant data.
2. Scanning RFID Tags
A second method to add equipment to the list is to scan the equipment's RFID tag. To do this, select the Scan button (located to the right of the search bar).
A Scan Equipment pop-up will appear. You can add Smart ID on each line. When you are finished, click Done.
You can add a comment to the verification by clicking on the Add Comment button, located at the bottom of main Verification screen.
Once the desired equipment is selected and added to the list on the right side of the screen, click the Finish Verification button in the lower right corner.
The Verify Assets pop-up will then allow you to review details of the verification. Once you have completed this review, click Confirm Verification to complete the process.
The verified piece(s) of equipment will then appear in the Verification tile on the main page.
